Wes Sims made a debut that most won’t forget. Mir takes Sims down and totally dominates him on the ground. Mir tries an armbar and Sims gets out and holds onto the cage (which is illegal) and stomps Mir numerous times in the face (which is illegal). So Mir can’t continue and results in a disqualification of Wes Sims. Vitor Belfort makes his long awaited return to the UFC with a spectacular display of knees and punches that TKO’s Marvin Eastman in the first round. With Tito Ortiz’s in contract disputes the UFC has Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell fighting for the Interim title.
