Ed Herman’s MMA career didn’t start off with such a big bang, losing his first bout via 1st round submission. He then won six straight before running into Pancrase legend Kazuo Misaki.

Two years later he made it to the finals of the Spike TV reality series The Ultimate Fighter 3, losing a razor thin unanimous decision to winner Kendall Grove.

His next shot at the UFC was against Canadian MMA superstar Jason MacDonald, losing by triangle choke in the first round. He has bounced back quickly racking off two consecutive submission victories in the octagon, putting his future in the UFC back on track.
