Abbadi was selected to compete on the third season of SPIKE TV’s The Ultimate Fighter reality series, where he was eliminated in the first round by Ed Herman via armbar submission.

His next UFC match was at The Ultimate Fighter 3 finale, where he took on fellow eliminated TUF competitor Kalib Starnes, losing via submission in the first round.

He also appeared on the UFC 63 Hughes vs Penn undercard, losing a unanimous decision to Jorge Gurgel in September of 2006.

He has since began fighting on some minor MMA organization cards; the World Extreme Fighting, where he won via TKO, and another on Fight Force International where he lost a unanimous decision.
