Before landing a job in the WWE, Lesnar was a high school and collegiate wrestling superstar, going undefeated in high school, and 106-5 at the University of Minnesota.

After deciding that the life of a pro wrestler was not to his liking, Lesnar left the WWE to try hi hand at professional football, earning an invitation to the Minnesota Vikings training camp, where he failed to make the team.

He began his MMA career in 2007, when he fought and defeated Min Soo Kim via submission in a K-1 event in Japan.
