UFC 94 - The Best of the Rest
The top two fights on the card are Lyoto Michada vs. Thiago Silva and B.J. Penn vs. Georges St. Pierre, but UFC 94 in Las Vegas is offering much more than that.
There are eight other bouts on the card and the BetUS Sportsbook is offering online wagering on every single one of the bouts. It’s a sports betting fans dream if he does his homework!
Let’s take a look at the other fights on the card in relation to the BetUS online sportsbook betting UFC odds.
UFC Fights – Who Wins At What Online Odds?
Matt Arroyo -180 vs. Dan Cramer +150 - - Arroyo is a submission specialist with a 3 and 2 record while Cramer is making his UFC betting debut, but he looks good and could definitely give Arroyo a run for his money. I have to take the guys with odds. I’m going with Cramer at +150.
Jake O’Brien -300 vs. Christian Wellisch +200 - - Wellisch has a 9 and 3 record and trains in jiu-jitsu. He also has sense humor saying that his biggest strengths are his “chin and graprefruits”. O’Brien is 10 and 2 and is just a tough, aggressive, ground and pounder. I’ll go with Wellisch because of the online betting odds because I respect a guy who’s willing to make people laugh while bleeding.
Chris Wilson -350 vs. John Howard +275 - - Howard is going off at a nice price for a guy who has racked up a 10 and 4 record. He’s a straight-up boxer who doesn’t quit. Wilson is 13-4-1 and is a mean ass striker. He can kick and punch and just knows what the hell he’s doing in there. I can’t go against the chalk. Wilson at -350 is the pick.
Manny Gamburyan Ev vs. Thiago Tavares -130 - - At 10 and 4, Manny Gamburyan has compiled a decent UFC record. He knows a bunch of styles and his judo skills should definitely help him in this fight. But Thiago Tavares is one of the best in his division with a 17 and 3 record and that excellent Muay Thai background. Another favorite that wins in my eyes. Tavares at -130.
Jon Fitch -600 vs. Akihiro Gono +350 - - Fitch rarely loses having gone 20-3-1 in his UFC career. He has jiu-jitsu skills but his main skill is wrestling. Gono has been around a while racking up a 23-17-1 record. Gono has excellent defensive skills but this is UFC. If you aren’t aggressive, you’re dead. I’m not betting this because -600 is just too much to risk, but Fitch should win easily.
Nate Diaz -125 vs. Clay Guida -105 - - Diaz is 10 and 2, knows jiu-jitsu and can box while Guida is 24 and 6 and has one of the best chins in UFC. Guida has the experience, is going off at better online fighting odds and can box, take-down, and do whatever is necessary to win. I’m all over Guida in this bout at -105.
Karo Parisyan -350 vs. Dong Hyun Kim +250 - - At 26 and 5, with the ability to grapple and get his opponents to the ground and having gone 8 and 2 in his last 10 fights, Parisyan is almost unbeatable in this bout. Kim is a tough guy with an 11-0-1 record but he doesn’t have the experience that Parisyan has. Kim also doesn’t really have a technique per se. I have to go favorite again by betting on Parisyan at -350.
Stephan Bonnar -175 vs. Jon Jones +135 - - Bonnar is 14 and 4 and can take a person’s head off with his striking ability. He’s also a Las Vegas boy so the fans will be cheering like mad for him in this bout. Jon Jones is 7 and 0, is cocky as hell, and can wrestle, knows jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai. I wanted to make a bet on Bonnar but the odds are just too good on a fighter like Jones. I’m taking Jones in this bout at +135.
Good Luck!
