UFC 92 The Ultimate Fight Card Picks

The final five fights on the UFC 92 card promise to be nothing but bone shattering excitement as such fighters as Forrest Griffin and Quinton Jackson take to the ring!
Sports betting fans will have to really do their homework to find the winners in these tough bouts! In the main event Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans promise to put on a serious show. The BetUS Sportsbook odds makers will be releasing online odds soon on every fight. But it never hurts to take an early peak!
Let’s get to it!
Final Five Fights on the UFC Card!
6. Cheick Kongo vs. Mostapha Al Turk - - I will be very surprised if the BetUS online sportsbook odds makers release online betting odds on this fight and Kongo isn’t the favorite. Kongo has a stellar record of 22-4-1. His last two losses were by split decision and he uses every single technique imaginable to win the fight. Al Turk is a Jiu-jitsu fighter who will want to get Kongo onto the ground. I’m not sure if that will be possible. Kongo looks like one of the most obvious online betting favorites on the card.
7. Wanderlei Silva (- 130) vs. Quinton Jackson (- 110) - - The BetUS odds maker have already released online UFC odds on this match and it looks like Silva is the favorite. Silva can strike with power, has a black belt in Jiu-jitsu, and there isn’t another fighter on the card with as much experience. Silva is also fighting because he wants to take Jackson down. Jackson’s been mouthing off about him on the internet. That could give Silva some motivation. But Jackson is no pushover. “Rampage” can wrestle but his biggest strength is just his overall strength. He’s cut like a mad man and has this attitude that he will never lose to anybody. I also think he might be faster than Silva. I have to go with Jackson in this one. He’s the underdog but there isn’t a reason for him to be the underdog judging by their recent records. That makes him an overlay online bet in this fight.
8. CB Dolloway vs. Mike Massenzio - - Massenzio has proven to be one of the best fighters in UFC after garnering an 11 and 2 record. That’s hard to do because there is so much talent in the league. Dolloway isn’t that far off at 8 and 2. Massenzio has unbelievable wrestling skills and he knows all of the submission moves that one needs to get his opponent to tap out. Dolloway is a straight wrestler. That could work to Massenzio’s advantage because he can strike if he needs to. I think Massenzio comes out on top in this one.
9. Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera ( - 350) vs. Frank Mir (+ 225) - - Mir is a well known fighter but he’s a long-shot in the BetUS online sportsbook to take down Noguiera who can box, wrestle, and has an unbelievable chin. Mir has his work cut out for him. Can he beat Noguiera? Mir is a straight submission guy who took down Brock Lesnar in his last fight. So, I can’t say that he won’t lose, but Noguiera is a bad man with bad intentions. If I had to make an online bet, then I’d go with Mir. The odds are clearly in Noguiera’s favor, but Mir has been working on his striking, he’s a fantastic wrestler and has strength like no ones business. This should be one of the best fights on the card and my money is with Mir.
10. Forrest Griffin (- 130) vs. Rashad Evans ( - 110) - - Rarely does a main event in any sport live up to its billing, but this one should! Griffin and Evans are incredibly evenly matched with Griffin maybe getting the slight edge in experience having fought arguably tougher opponents. But Evans is undefeated with the lone blemish on his record being a tie and he is fresh of a stone cold knockout of Chuck “The Ice Man” Liddell. Griffin never quits and he’s a fantastic grappler, but his best strength is his ability to change his style in the middle of a fight. The man will do what it takes to win. Sometimes it works out for him. Sometimes it doesn’t. Evans is a terrific wrestler who is brilliant at getting his opponent to the ground but equally tough when preventing his opponents from taking him to the ground. This is going to be an excellent fight because neither guy will be willing to quit. I like Evans. That undefeated record says something to me and he’s getting better online odds in the BetUS online sportsbook. But I won’t be surprised, or upset, if Griffin pulls out the victory.
Good Luck!
