UFC 105 Betting - Michael Bisping (-105) vs. Denis Kang (-125)

Michael Bisping Must Fend Off Denis Kang to Last in UFC
Two former middleweight contenders look to resurrect their careers by putting the other one in a coffin. Michael Bisping has been nothing more than a shadow and a victim on Dan Henderson’s highlight reel after getting his jaw rearranged at UFC 100.
Bisping is certainly the more talented overall fighter, but he doesn’t overwhelm opponents with any single component of his arsenal. That might be a problem considering that Denis Kang is considered the more experienced of the two.
Bisping is a polarizing figure in the UFC because many perceive him as being cocky. It attracts some fight fans, while it distances others. But putting distance between himself and Kang may be the only thing that allows Bisping to survive. He has a height and reach advantage that he must use in order to keep Kang at bay from unleashing his Jiu-Jitsu on the mat.
Kang has spent all of 2009 trying to prove that he belongs in the UFC. Despite undeniable talent, Kang’s debut saw him lose to Alan Belcher via choke and a win over Xavier Fopu-Pokam was uninspiring because the “X-Man” ran out of gas in the final round. You can say that Bisping doesn’t inspire confidence, but I’m not sure how Kang’s UFC performance has inspired anyone to back him in MMA betting when this event hits Spike TV life on Saturday.
The UFC oddsmakers are pegging Kang as the favorite in this fight because of Bisping’s ugly knockout against Henderson. But Kang hasn’t done anything lately to attract him as a betting favorite overall. Bisping will use his length to keep Kang at a distance and stay on his feet enough to walk away with a frustrating decision to upset the favorite.
Furious Free Pick: Michael Bisping (-105) OVER Denis Kang (-125)
