UFC betting action will be at its finest Saturday evening when Michael "The Count" Bisping and Rashad "Sugar" Evans meet for a heavyweight battle in the main event.

Both fighters bring an unblemished record to the cage holding a combined record of 30-0-1. Bisping will attempt to stay unbeaten at 15-0 by utilizing a solid standup game while looking to land bombs. The Liverpool, Englandnative has heart and is able to adapt to any situation making him a very lively underdog at +210.

Bisping is coming off a hard fought victory as the favorite against Matt Hamill on Sept. 8 in UFC 75. He was able to score a split decision win but he clearly wasn't at his sharpest. It was the closest Bisping has ever come to being beaten. Heading into the Hamill fight, Bisping posted three consecutive victories via technical knock out.

Evans is also coming off a bout he narrowly escaped, as his closest fight to have ever been beaten, when he fought Tito Ortiz on July 7 in UFC 73 as the slight favorite with the contest ending in a draw. Prior to the draw, the New York native scored back-to-back knockouts against lesser fighters en route to his 15-0-1 mark.

Evans will try to get the job done as the -210 favorite with takedowns and a good takedown defense.

This battle could come down to which fighter wants it more, and sounds like one of those fights where both guys stand in the center of the cage and throw big bombs. Who ever lands the first effective punch will have the upper hand as the other man will have to go on the defensive.

Also on the card, Thiago Silva will face Houston "The Assassin" Alexander in what will be another stellar heavyweight fight. Silva enters the Octagon at an impressive 11-0 but oddsmakers aren't showing him much respect, as UFC odds display him the underdog of +110.

He'll look for the mild upset with aggressiveness and solid striking skills, which he used on Sept. 8 in UFC 75 to produce a technical knock out over Tomasz Drwal in his last fight.

Alexander brings to the cage an 8-1 record as the favorite of -140. He'll look to get the job done with athleticism, overall strength and powerful punches. Alexander is also coming off a technical knock out against Alessio Sakara in UFC 75.

Both fighters prefer to throw down while standing up opposed to battling on the ground, and this matchup practically guarantees a knockout ending.

As well, Joe "El Dirte" Doerksen will face Ed "Short Fuse" Herman and Ryo "Piranha" Chonan will lock up with Karo "The Heat" Parisyan on Saturday in UFC 78 - VALIDATION.
