SPIKE TV delivered another awesome free MMA betting event Wednesday evening as UFC Fight Night 15 took center stage and Nate Diaz took the win. The UFC wagering favorite at -200, Diaz went to war with Josh Neer for 15:00 minutes, and after three hard fought rounds, cards went to the judges who awarded Diaz a split decision victory.

Round 1 proved the 155-pounders are some of the world's greatest technicians in all of MMA competition. Both fighters exploited leg kicks, takedowns and throws followed up with ground and pound. Neither fighter gained an edge in the opening round despite beautiful MMA talents being showcased by both men.

Round 2 began with some quick exchanges followed by a Neer takedown. With three minutes left, both fighters stood and Neer took the action back to the mat and it ''Neerly'' paid off, literally, for the UFC wagering puppy players, as the underdog of +150 almost locked in a submission hold on Diaz who escaped danger and turned the tables and began delivering offensive from his back as the middle round ended.

In the final round, Diaz came out firing shots at Neer while looking for the takedown which he got. Neer responded with two brief triangle attempts that the fave easily avoided. By the midway point of the round, Diaz got Neer’s back but couldn't maintain it. In the final minute, the two stood and locked up but like throughout most of the fight, the action went back to the ground, with each fighter countering moves with precision of a MMA surgeon in what was a great online UFC betting bout.

The scores were 29-28 twice, and 28-29 for Diaz, who improves his overall MMA record to 10-2 and extends his UFC winning streak to five; Neer falls to 24-7-1.

In the co-main event, Lightweight contender Clay Guida was dominate in his bout against Mac Danzig, using an aggressive attack to score a three round unanimous decision victory over TUF season six winner. Scores were 30-27, and 29-28 twice for Guida, who moves to 24-6-0; Danzig drops to 19-5-1.

In the most furiously paced fight on the UFC Fight Night card, heavyweight Eric Schafer submitted Houston Alexander in what was a relentless non-stop ground attack delivered by Schafer that ultimately produced the submission win. With the victory, Schafer improves to 12-3-2; Alexander falls to 8-4 with 1 no contest.

In a competitive middleweight bout, Alan Belcher used superior striking to score a three round unanimous decision over Ed Herman. Scores were 29-28 across the board for Belcher, who ups his record to 12-4; Herman drops to 16-6.

The next UFC online betting event is UFC 89 BISPING vs. LEBEN on Saturday, October 18 - Free on SPIKE TV! UFC crosses the pond for a Pay-Per-View worthy fight card that U.S. fans get to enjoy at no cost.
