Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida
Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida is the next big thing in the UFC. He stopped Rashad Evans at 3:57 of the second round to win the light heavyweight title at UFC 98 and in doing so, kept his record unblemished at 15-0.
Machida was in control the entire fight and seemed to know exactaly what Evans was going to throw at every exchange. The champ landed a barrage of punches that sent Evans reeling up against the cage and finished him off with a left hand that folded Evans backwards onto the canvas.
The light heavyweight title has now changed hands four times in the
last five title bouts. Next up for Machida is a date with Mauricio
"Shogun" Rua in an all Brazilian war that will be another mega
fight for MMA betting fans to dig into.
