UFC Wagering: Rampage Jackson vs. Keith Jardine

UFC 96 Odds: Keith Jardine vs. Quinton Jackson

If you followed our UFC 96 Expert Picks and fight card analysis you would have cashed in big time. UFC 96 saw what every fight fan pays to see, big knockouts and major upsets. The main event was much closer than people anticipated as Jackson took the decision over Jardine. Both men looked to be ahead on the scorecard and it took a last minute fury in the third round by Rampage to seal the deal.

Jackson will now have to make a decision whether or not to take on Rashad Evans at UFC 98 on May 23. If he does it will be his third fight in five months, which is tough both mentally and physically. If he decides to take a pass the title shot will go to Lyoto Machida and Jackson will then take on the winner.

The undercard that had everyone buzzing from UFC 96 was Shange Carwin vs. Gabriel Gonzaga. Carwin, the underdog, showed the MMA world he’s for real with a first round knockout. At 11-0 and with a legit victory under his belt, Carwin has thrust himself right into the mix of a very competitive heavyweight division. Those favored in the BetUS Sportsbook that came out victorious were home town boy Matt Hamill, along with Kendall Grove and Brandon Vera. Hamill’s may have been the most impressive as he took out the previously undefeated Mark Munoz with a devastating leg kick knockout.

Next up for the UFC is a free Fight Night on Spike headlined by Condit vs Kampmann on April 1st. Stay tuned to the Locker Room for all the latest UFC news and updates, your number one MMA Sportsbook.
