West Bromwich Albion Can’t Buy a Win

Things cannot get much worse for West Bromwich Albion – small mercies. West Bromwich Albion has the less than gratifying tenure of bottom spot in the Premiership table. They have not won a match in their last six – surely the essential requisite to climb the table – collecting only one point on a draw against Blackburn Rovers.

Conspicuous with nine defeats – oh, the missed opportunities – and three wins in the season proper, sooner rather than later, West Brom will have to win a match or two. Otherwise, it won’t be just sports bettors dropping them, the Premier League would drop them as well – into the obscurity of the subjacent Champions League. Abomination.

I suppose things could get worse after all.

That is fast-forwarding through the season a bit much though. Not too long ago, Wigan Athletic hovered in the drop zone, causing sports betting markets to shift promptly against them.
