Q: If I pick heads, and the coin lands heads-up, do I win?

I have a stupid question.  The coin toss prop for the Super Bowl asks whether the coin will land on heads or tails.  When it says "lands," I don't know whether that means up or down - lands could mean both - if I land on my feet, my feet are on the bottom of me.  To simplify the answer for me (because I'm obviously and idiot), just answer the following question: if I pick heads, and the coin lands heads-up, do I win?

Thanks for helping a helpless dope.  This is what law school does to your brain.

Bookie: The Super Bowl coin toss has generated a lot of interest and even controversy. It is often done well before the game in a back room, and the live event is then staged. Since the exact time isn't revealed there have been charges of insider betting on the coin flip. BetUS.com radio point man our expert insists there is value in betting tails because the head on the heads side makes it heavier and more likely to land on the ground. This year a little kid was supposed to do the flip, and it was so heavy he couldn't pull it off and ended up just dropping it.

To answer the question: Yes. If you bet heads and the coin lands with the head up your bet will be graded a winner.
