NHL Friday Night Betting - 3 Game Parlay
by Tim Furious

Home team in caps! Don’t miss all the sweet NHL betting this weekend. Stick to the moneylines and enjoy the fruits of your decisions as the NHL season gets underway. Here are some of the highlights from Friday!
Philadelphia Flyers (+100) over CAROLINA HURRICNAES
The Flyers have some questions to answer heading in to this season, but no team gets off to a better start in the regular season than the Philadelphia Flyers. They have Chris Pronger anchoring a blue-line, so keeping Erik Staal out of the action will be priority one for the new big man in Philly. The Flyers are 7-2 SU in their last 9 against the Canes.
Listen, I’m a big of the Hurricanes overall. They’re going to take home the Southeast Division with relative ease. They’re a deep and dangerous team that is three scoring lines deep. But the Flyers are the cream of the crop in the vaunted Eastern Conference, and will be much more difficult to handle with Pronger altering the landscape of the conference in Philadelphia.
Philly has to answer the critics that chastised their stumbling finish to the season, and rocketing out of the gates against Carolina will get things off to the right start for Philadelphia.
Detroit Red Wings (-130) over ST. LOUIS BLUES
The season of revenge starts for the Wings today. The Wings aren’t going to let a dangerous Blues team, which ended the 2008-09 season on a miraculous run to sneak in to the playoffs, get any ideas of an upset. The Wings are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games against St. Louis, and will prove that Marion Hossa was nothing more than a bad luck charm. They’re going to be better off without him.
New York Rangers (+135) over PITTSBURGH PENGUINS
It’ll be banner night for the Penguins tonight, and the Rangers will be in town to spoil the party just like the Leafs did to the Wings last year. The Rangers are winless in their last 5 on the road, but a revamped team including the addition of Marion Gaborik will lead to the upset over the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Sidney Crosby is great, but he’s going to be slowed down by a groin injury. Bet the upset on banner night every time!
