BOSTON BRUINS -230 over Minnesota Wild

The Wild just lost Marion Gaborik (again) to a hip injury, and the Bruins are one of the hottest online betting tickets in town. Boston has gone 10-1 SU in their last 11 games and have just one loss at home in their last 15 home stands. Bet Boston. Bet heavy.

New Jersey Devils +130 over CAROLINA HURRICANES

The Canes are a hefty 4-1 SU in their last 5 games, while going 5-1 SU in their last 6 at the RBC Center. So why do I like the dirty Devils? Because they’re 6-2 SU in their last 8 matchups against the Canes. As a road pick with two solid Eastern Conference victories in their back pocket, bet on Jersey to rip and roar through the Hurricane behind some physical fore-checking and the team’s gold standard on defense.

WASHINGTON CAPITALS -160 over Philadelphia Flyers

I love Philly. I do. It’s kind of ridiculous that they won the World Series, are entering the Divisional NFL Playoffs this weekend on the back of Donavan McNabb and have a competitive NHL team as well. Maybe all the good fortune from Boston has swept to Philadelphia for whatever reason. But they’re going to run in to a brick wall when clashing with the Caps tonight.

Ovechkin and company are on a rampage right now, going undefeated in their last five games at home, and in general. Though they’ve struggled against the bruising Flyers before, Philadelphia is ravaged by injuries to nearly everybody named worthy not named Jeff Carter. Bet on Washington and be happy.

BUFFALO SABRES -210 over Ottawa Senators

Whenever a team is -200 or more, there’s a damn good reason. Either they’re undeniably a strong home team, or the visiting team absolutely stinks. Since Buffalo is 2-4 SU in their last 6 at home, then the Sens must be terrible. Oh wait, they’ve only had one road victory in their last 15 attempts? Holy crap.

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS -120 over Florida Panthers

Bryan McCabe makes his destructive return to the city that booted him out when Florida visits Leaf Nation tonight. Florida is 1-5 SU in their last 6 games, and Toronto has owned Florida in their past meetings. With a 4-2 SU record at home and a 4-1 SU record against Florida, bet Toronto for the solid victory tonight against a team that has struggled on the road lately.

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS -230 over Atlanta Thrashers

Again, a huge line for the Penguins means a near-guaranteed victory. The Thrashers suck, and the only interest you should have in them is seeing where Ilya Kovalchuk ends up.
