One of those teams is the Phoenix Coyotes, left for dead in bankruptcy court at the season's outset, and now neck-and-neck with the Sharks for the Pacific Division lead, riding with Ilya Bryzgalov, who paces all NHL goaltenders in shutouts.

This year's Stanley Cup championship will have a host of worthy contenders, including the Penguins, New Jersey Devils, Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks, Sharks, Coyotes, Nashville Predators, Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche.
