NFL Winning Pick: Indy vs Baltimore

Bookmark and Share by Al Simmons

The undefeated Indianapolis Colts visit the 2 point home underdog Baltimore Ravens at 1:00 PM ET at M&T Bank Stadium in a game of squads that achieved prime-time victories last week.

NFL Betting Odds:
Indianapolis Colts -2
Baltimore Ravens +2
0/U 44

The Colts remain undefeated following a big win over the Patriots 35-34 after out-scoring New England 21-10 in the last quarter; the Ravens beat the Browns 16-0 on Monday Night Football.

"It is a huge win," Manning said. "The main reason is it's an AFC team. Teams in our division are winning. That's what we are trying to do, stay ahead of those teams."

Obviously its no surprise that the Colts are unbeaten, they became the first team in NFL history to pursuit a 9-0 record in 3 of 5 consecutive years.
Indianapolis is the team to beat in the AFC no question about it. Stopping Peyton Manning will be a difficult task for Baltimore. Manning has 8 games with over 300 yards and has thrown 20 TD passes, most by any QB this season.

The Ravens D isn’t as dominating as it use to be 5 years ago. They don´t force as many interceptions as they use to and their run defense isn’t always plugging the holes.

The Ravens have also struggled on the offensive side too, they haven´t scored a first half TD since week 5 and this could be catastrophic facing the best offense in the league.  Just imagine this game could be over by halftime if Baltimore doesn’t keep it close.

They best weapon on offense for the Ravens is RB Ray Rice, he has 5 TD in the 4 games and his ability not only for finding holes but also catching the ball on screen plays make him the biggest treat for Indy´s defense.

Consider these NFL betting trends:  Indianapolis its 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games on the road and 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Baltimore.  The Ravens are 2-4 SU in its last 6 games.  Also if you´re betting on the game total keep in mind it has gone UNDER in 4 of Baltimore`s last 5 games.
