NFL Week 11 Picks - Redskins vs. Cowboys in NFC East Clash
by Tim Furious
Washington Looking to Dent Cowboys’ Playoff Hopes
The Redskins aren’t going to be in the playoffs anytime soon, but they can certainly make that the shared destiny of the Cowboys as well by upsetting them on the road.
Washington is just 3-11-3 ATS in their last 17 games, and with Clinton Portis out of action due to a concussion, there’s little chance that they’ll be able to muscle up a win against their NFC East foe. But I said the exact same thing about their game against Denver last week, which they won 27-17.

The Cowboys whipped up four straight wins before collapsing against Green Bay in an untimely fashion. It’s not that we’ve all suddenly lost faith in the Cowboys, it’s just that it was one of those games that reminds you that Tony Romo isn’t to be trusted overall.
With Dallas protecting a 7-2 ATS record at home, and a 15-7 ATS record over Washington, this is a game when you can slide over and park a seat next to Romo with a little more comfort.

NFL Betting Line: Dallas -11 (41.5)
This series has always been mired by one guy – Santana Moss. He caught 13 passes for 174-yards in two games during 2008 and 236-yards and two touchdowns in 2007. Moss is that kind of fantasy player that you never want to bench because you never know when he’s going to explode. He has 150-yards and three touchdowns written all over him in this one and that makes me nervous as hell’s bells.
It’s not that I like Washington, or feel comfortable siding with them after they basically had to beat the Spawn of Simms last weekend. It’s just that Moss is the x-factor who almost always shows up to decimate the Cowboys. He loves it. Thrives on it. And for that reason, with huge a monster spread, I can’t encourage a safe bet on Dallas. Sorry, America’s Team. Santana’s comin’ to get ya!
