NFL Thanksgiving 2009 Picks

Thanksgiving is here for everyone to spend with your family, giving thanks for the past year, eating turkey and of course watching NFL Thanksgiving day football.

This Thanksgiving not only will you see Detroit (hosting Green Bay) and Dallas (hosting Oakland) play, but the G-Men are visiting the Denver.

Here are my NFL Football Picks for Thanksgiving 2009:

Green Bay (6-4, Road: 2-2) 12:30 pm ET

Detroit (2-8, Home: 2-3) FOX

The Packers are hitting their groove, they are gunning for the NFC wild card spot and they are not going to let up this week. The Lions are coming off a HUGE victory against Cleveland, but with Matthew Stafford hurt and

My pick: Packers. Over.

Oakland (3-7, Road: 1-3) 4:15 pm EST

Dallas (7-3, Home: 4-1) CBS

The Cowboy’s are stumbling around. Their passing game isn’t working. Their running game is in shambles and their defense can’t win any games. The Oakland Raiders are even worse than the Cowboys, but they won last week against the Bengals. Don’t expect it to happen again though.

NY Giants (6-4, Road: 3-2) 8:20 pm EST

Denver (6-4, Home: 3-2) NFL

Neither of these two teams are playing even close to how they started the season out. However the Giants are a more experienced team and have turned around losing seasons before a la Superbowl XLII.
