Denver Domination To Continue In Baltimore

Bookmark and Share by Tim Furious

Nobody’s been tossing out coach of the year nominations yet, but Josh McDaniels is certainly in the mix. After leaving Uncle Bill in New England, and beating him by three in Week 4, the Broncos have thundered out to a 6-0 SU/ATS record, making them one of only three undefeated teams in the league. Lost in the big news of the NFL is that Kyle Orton is leading an undefeated team.

I repeat: KYLE ORTON IS LEADING AN UNDEFEATED TEAM.

Both the Ravens and Broncos have had a bye week to set up for this game, and considering how strong the Broncos have been it’s extremely hard to go agasint them in NFL betting. They’re 6-2 ATS on the road and though they’re just 1-5 ATS against Baltimore, this is a brand new Denver team. Don’t rely on historical stats.

Denver Broncos (6-0) vs. Baltimore Ravens (3-3)
Sunday, November 1st --- M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore --- 1:00pm EST

NFL Betting Line: Baltimore -3 (41.5)

I would usually throw a west coast team playing on the east coast under the bus, but the bye week really evens the tilt in this one. Even the oddsmakers don’t know what to do with this game, giving it the natural home line.

Baltimore is 6-2 ATS at home and 15-5- ATS in their last 20 games overall. I love what Flacco and Ray Rice are becoming, but the defense in Denver is nasty and have shut down proven playmakers like New England , San Diego and Dallas. Don’t get chippy with the Ravens in this one. If they’ve proven anything, it’s that their defense is over the hill. Bet on the fresh faces in Denver and start believing in Josh McDaniels.

Furious Free Pick: Denver +3 (UNDER)
