BetUS NFL Week 14 Picks

We were up and down last week, getting shafted by a Raiders team that held the opposition to minus net yards passing and still found a way to lose. Incredible. At any rate, we were all over several big picks last weekend on the radio show, including Tennessee over the Colts. But, of course you listen to the show religiously and already knew that, right?

Tennessee -1.5

I refuse to believe a team that’s 5-2 in their last seven games with both one-point losses coming against playoff-bound teams, can lose in this matchup. Vince Young will be very hyped and ready to show up the Texans for not picking him. He is getting better and better from week-to-week and we believe Houston’s horrible secondary is no match for the young quarterback.

As for the Texans? They stink and only won last week because their opponents stunk even worse. David Carr will be in the AFL next season. Take the Titans and lay the points.

Buffalo +4

The Bills have been good to us in recent weeks and we see no reason not to take them this week. New York is probably (and sadly) playoff-bound and Buffalo will be anxious to show the league that they are a postseason-caliber team. Willis McGahee should have a big game on the ground and the Buffalo defense will do enough to hang in and rattle Chad Pennington. Take the Bills and the points.

Seattle -3.5

The Seahawks did not play especially well last Sunday night, yet still won the game. They must begin their preparation for the playoffs and it begins with an easy win here. Seattle has all the tools to reclaim their championship form and we expect them to possibly win out heading in to the postseason.

Yes, the Cardinals won last week and have show signs of life recently. But it’s too little, too late for Dennis Green. The coaching staff are dead men walking and we believe the only guy on Arizona who wants to win this game badly is Matt Leinart. Unfortunately, he can’t really tackle or catch his own passes. Take the Seahawks and lay the points.

Last Week: 1-2-1
