Fantasy Football Week 11 Start Em Sit Em

With all the bye weeks now over for the year, fantasy owners have their entire roster ready to go in the last weeks of the fantasy football regular season.

If you´re close to winning your fantasy league, or at least have a chance to turn it around, you should place the players with the best matchups at this point of the season.

This is my Start Em & Sit Em list for fantasy football week 11:

Start EM

QB

Matt Schaub vs. Tennessee: The Titans have the second worst defense against the pass and Schaub and the Texans have had two weeks to prepare for this game. Keep in mind Schaub had 4 TD with no INT for 38 fantasy points (season high) in Nashville in week 2.

Aaron Rodgers vs. San Francisco : Rodgers is coming off a strong performance against the Cowboys despite the enormous pressure the D put on him. Rodgers has not had less than 20 fantasy points for 8 weeks in a row now. The 49ers’ D is ranked 29th against the pass.

Eli Manning vs. Atlanta : Manning has been awful the last 4 weeks and after a bye week he will be prepared to face a bad Falcons passing defense hopefully with his foot healed.

RB

Maurice Jones- Drew vs. Buffalo: The Bills have the worst defense vs. the run in the NFL and, despite taking the knee on the Jets 1 yard line, Jones-Drew put up some big numbers last week (123 yards and a TD). Keep in mind the Bills’ D allow 35 fantasy points on average to RBs, and expect something similar for Jones-Drew.

Kevin Smith vs. Cleveland: Smith is not having a good season but who in Detroit is? The Browns have the third worst defense against the run.

Larry Johnson vs. Oakland: Cedric Benson is questionable for the Bengals this weekend and they just signed free agent Larry Johnson. Johnson may be a good option in case you have a RB injured or with a hard matchup. The Raiders are ranked 29th against the run.

WR

Andre Johnson vs. Tennessee: Johnson had 26 fantasy points (season high) against the Titans in week 2.

Steve Smith vs. Miami: The Dolphins are ranked 27 th against the pass. Smith is coming off his best performance of the season with 2 TDs.

James Jones vs. San Francisco: Rodgers is throwing to everyone that isn’t called Greg Jennings. Jones may be a pretty good option facing a 49ers defense unable to stop the pass.

Sit EM

QB

Tony Romo vs. Washington: Romo had an awful game against the Packers last week and now he will face the best passing defense in the league.

Matt Ryan vs. Atlanta : Ryan hasn´t thrown more than 1 TD in the last 3 games. The NY Giants have the second best defense against the pass.

RB

Darren McFadden, Michael Bush or Justin Fargas vs. Cincinnati: You shouldn’t have players on your roster roster from the Raiders, but if you’re thinking of putting any of these guys out there you better think twice. The Bengals are ranked second against the run and have only allowed 4 TD on the ground all season.

Ryan Grant vs. San Francisco: Grant has struggled to put big numbers up all season. The 49ers’ D can force turnovers and stop the run.

WR

Roddy White vs. NY Giants: White is day to day with a knee injury. If he plays he will face the second best pass defense in the entire league.

Miles Austin vs. Washington: Look above at Romo.
