Struggling Miami Dolphins Host Budding Buffalo Bills

Bookmark and Share by Eric Williams

The Buffalo Bills (5-1 SU, 4-2 ATS, 4-2 O/U), are apparently – very, very, for real this season BetUS NFL Locker Room readers!

Coming off a convincing 23-14 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday in which they covered as 1-point home favorites in the BetUS Sportsbook, the Bills will travel to Florida to take on longtime division rivals, the Miami Dolphins (2-4 SU, 3-3 ATS, 4-2 O/U).

Buffalo bounced back from their only loss of the season by controlling the Chargers – and the clock – keeping the ball for just over 35 minutes while getting solid performances across the board.

Young quarterback Trent Edwards went an efficient 25-for-30 for 261 yards and one touchdown while running back Marshawn Lynch added 70 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown.

The Bills held Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson to just 41 yards on 14 carries, keeping him out of the end zone in the process.

The Dolphins dropped their second consecutive game in losing to the Baltimore Ravens at home 27-13 while failing to cover as 3-point home favorites.

While veteran quarterback Chad Pennington had a decent game, completing 24 of 35 passes for 295 yards and one touchdown, Baltimore’s sound defensive unit held Dolphins’ running backs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to 27 and 16 yards respectively while sacking Pennington three times and forcing him into one interception.

Here is a look at the key trends for each team, followed by my in-depth analysis and NFL Free Picks.
