NFL Week 11 Betting Trends - UNDER Power Poll

Bookmark and Share by Mike Rose

NFL point spreads have been tightening up throughout the league, but BetUS.com's NFL handicapping experts keep you in the know with this week's NFL power rankings for 'unders'...

1: Denver Broncos (7-2) (LW: 1) The Broncos played their second 'over' contest of the season when they lost 27-17 in our nation's capitol. The other 'over' of the year occurred at Qualcomm Stadium against the Chargers. Will the return game between the two squads at Mile High be the same way?

Up Next: Home vs. Chargers

2: Oakland Raiders (6-3) (LW: 3) For as long as QB JaMarcus Russell is calling the shots in Oakland, this is an automatic 'under' squad. Russell went 9/24 in Sunday's snoozer against Kansas City. Cincy's defense should have no problem shutting this unit down. The only question is whether the offense is going to get to the 'total' itself or not.

Up Next: Home vs. Bengals

3: Cleveland Browns (6-3) (LW: 5) Yep, Cleveland's offense is still absolutely awful. It doesn't seem to matter whether QB Brady Quinn or Derek Anderson is calling the shots. Truth be told, there just isn't enough talent surrounding these guys for either one to be effective. That won't change this year, so the 'unders' should just keep on rolling.

Up Next: Away @ Lions

4: Houston Texans (6-3) (LW: 2) The Texans will have a huge test for their improving defense on Monday Night Football. Hopefully HC Gary Kubiak used his bye to scheme for QB Vince Young, because the Titans have scored at least 30 points in three straight contests. Even though this has been a traditionally low scoring series, Reliant Stadium may be in for a score-fest on MNF.

Up Next: Home vs. Titans

5: Buffalo Bills (5-4) (LW: 4) Buffalo's rushing defense had another tough time on Sunday afternoon trying to stop RB Chris Johnson. It was the play of QB Trent Edwards that pushed the game past the number, though. His pick six sealed the deal for 'over' bettors. If Edwards plays this poorly in the future, there are probably plenty of 'unders' on the horizon.

Up Next: Away @ Jaguars

6: Washington Redskins (5-4) (LW: 6) The Skins played a fantastic defensive game on Sunday against the Broncos, recording three sacks and dominating the line of scrimmage. However, a 21-point first quarter and a 31-point first half was just too much to overcome for a 36-point 'total'. Look for the 'D' to step up once again and get Washington back in the win column for 'under' bettors as well.

Up Next: Away @ Cowboys

7: Arizona Cardinals (5-4) (LW: 7) 'Under' bettors in the Arizona/Seattle game deserved a bit better than a 31-20 final on Sunday. The Cards' defense held the Seahawks to just three points in the second half, but allowing 17 in the first half was what really did the 'total' in. It was the third straight 'over' for a team that has been a notorious high-scoring squad for the better part of the L/2 seasons.

Up Next: Away @ Rams

8: Chicago Bears (5-4) (LW: NR) Five QB Jay Cutler interceptions helped keep the Thursday nighter well 'under' the number in Week 10, but the defense did its share as well. That defense will be tested against a very good Philadelphia offense at home next week in a game that really could be a do-or-die for HC Lovie Smith and his Bears.

Up Next: Home vs. Eagles
