The favorites put together a solid showing for NFL betting fans during Wild Card Weekend, as only the Colts failed to cover the spread. Will the favorites continue to put money in the bank during the second round, or will the underdogs bite back?

Getting the second round started on Saturday is Baltimore at Tennessee and Arizona at Carolina. Both games are rematches from the regular season. The Ravens and Titans met up back in Week 5 when Tennessee edged Baltimore 13-10 as a 1-point road favorite on the NFL odds. In the playoff rematch the early odds have the Titans listed as only a 3-point favorite despite the fact they’re playing in Tennessee, where the Titans were 7-1 SU and 6-1-1 ATS this season.

The Cardinals and Panthers clashed in Carolina in Week 8 when the Panthers escaped with a 27-23 win. Carolina was a 5.5-point favorite on the NFL odds and failed to cover the spread. This weekend Carolina is a big 10-point favorite, which shouldn’t come as a surprise when you look at the teams’ records. Carolina was 8-0 SU and 5-2-1 ATS at home this season, while the Cardinals were 3-5 SU and 4-4 ATS on the road.

Sunday’s playoff slate includes two more regular season rematches between Philadelphia and the Giants, and San Diego and Pittsburgh.

NFC East rivals Philadelphia and New York met up twice during the regular season, with both of them pulling off an upset win on the road. In Week 10 the Giants clipped the Eagles 36-31 as a 3-point road underdog, while in Week 14 the Eagles snapped New York’s seven-game win streak with a 20-14 win as a 6.5-point road underdog. Philly will look for another upset win in New York on Sunday as a 4-point underdog this time.

The Chargers racked up their fifth win in a row last week by upsetting the Colts, but to keep going in the postseason they’ll need another upset victory on Sunday over Pittsburgh. In Week 11 the Steelers went without a touchdown, but their defense held firm in an 11-10 win over San Diego as a 4.5-point favorite. The Steelers are a 6-point favorite in the rematch, as they go for their fifth straight win at home.
