NFL Monday Night Preview - Titans Look to Secure Lead Over Colts

The Tennessee Titans are undefeated. Not only are they 6 and 0 straight-up but they are also 6 and 0 against the BetUS online wagering spread this year. That makes them one of the best teams in the NFL if not the best team in the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts are doing okay, but they don’t appear to have the same sort of attitude that past Colts’ teams have shown. For online betting fans, a wager on the Colts is always going to be a difficult proposition.

Let’s get to it!

Monday Night NFL Match-Up

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans

Kick-off: 8:35 pm est.

BetUS online betting odds: Titans – 4 ½

BetUS over/under: 41 ½

BetUS money-line: Colts + 165

Against the Spread - - The Colts come into this game understanding that they have to win. Usually, in the past two or three years, I’d be all over the Colts to have no issues in this game. But the Titans have two of the best running backs in the NFL and the best offensive line in the NFL. They haven’t given up a sack yet and I doubt they will on Monday night to the Colts who will get killed by the run if they sit in that Tampa 2 defense all night. Forget it. The Titans should cover the online betting spread easily.

BetUS over/under - - I don’t see the Titans putting up more than 24 in this. Since they should beat the Colts rather easily, I see this game probably going under. But, then again, the Colts might be good for at least 17. That would make this an over game. NFL betting fans need to sit this online bet out. Stick to the spread.

BetUS money-line: Two years ago if you had given me + 165 on the Colts versus the 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978, I would have taken the Colts. Yes, even if they had to get out of the time traveling pod and play against Mean Joe Green right there and then! But this is 2008, not 2006, and this Colts team isn’t anywhere close to those 2005 and 2006 teams. I have to pass on the Colts and the money-line. I just don’t think they can stop the Titans running game and the Titans’ defense could cause Peyton Manning fits.

Good Luck!
