Is This a Bad Line?

The Patriots opened as 3.5 point favorites over the Steelers, though the game was quickly bet to 3. Not since the Washington Redskins were installed as point and a half favorites over the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl VII has a team with a fifteen game winning streak gone off as a dog. Is this a bad line?
BetUS.com: No. The Patriots and especially coach Belecheck have an enormous public following, and the football nation is also skeptical that a rookie QB can lead a team deep into the play-offs. This line will split the action and allow the bookmakers to pay the winners out of the take from the losers and keep just a little taste to pay the light bill.
