After recording back-to-back 7-9 records in 2006 and 2007, the Buffalo Bills – and more specifically – head coach Dick Jauron – are on the hot seat to improve and record a winning season for the first time since the 2004 season when Mike Mularkey was still the head coach.

Hot seat or not, Jauron and his Bills will find improving in 2008 a tall task as this team ranked 31st in overall defense and 30th in overall offense and will face an improved AFC in 2008.

Here is a look at the Bills’ 2008, along with my analysis on just how many wins the Bills will record in the BetUS Sportsbook this upcoming 2008 NFL season.

Ken Whisenhunt and the Cardinals are on the move in the NFC this season. Loss

 

10/19/08 San Diego Chargers

The Bolts can spot the Bills some points here and still cruise to victory. Loss

 

10/26/08 @ Miami Dolphins

The Bills and Dolphins usually split and will this season too. Loss

 

11/02/08 New York Jets

 

The Bills and Jets usually split their two annual contests also. Buffalo wins here. Win

 

11/09/08 @ New England Patriots

I think Buffalo could take their worst loss all season in this game. Loss

 

11/17/08 Cleveland Browns

 

The Browns can score the ball if nothing else and should win at home here. Loss

 

11/23/08 @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are really bad too, but should win this one at Arrowhead Stadium. Loss

 

11/30/08 San Francisco 49ers

 

The Niners have been mired in mediocrity like the Bills the last few seasons. Win

 

12/07/08 Miami Dolphins

I like the Bills to record back-to-back wins for the first time in this contest. Win

 

12/14/08 @ New York Jets

The Jets get their half of their season split with Buffalo in this contest. Loss

 

12/21/08 @ Denver Broncos

The Broncos win this game at Mile High Stadium as they shoot for the playoffs. Loss

 

12/28/08 New England Patriots

Buffalo wins as the Patriots rest their starters in preparation for the playoffs. Win

Analysis: While the Bills ‘hope’ they can improve their regular season record entering the 2008, I think they have too many holes to fill in one offseason alone and haven’t fully addressed those areas of concern while actually taking a step backwards this season and greasing the skids for Jauron’s ouster.
