NFL Playoff Picture: Key Games for Dallas, Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Philadelphia This Weekend and the AFC East is Still a Mess!

Man, I was really wrong about the chances of the New Orleans Saints to get into the playoffs before their loss last Thursday to the Chicago Bears! Sports betting fans have to excuse my lack of foresight in saying the Saints had a legitimate shot to make it into the playoffs.

They’ve been eliminated as has the Green Bay Packers.

Let’s take a look at which teams have the best chance to garner the two wild card spots in each conference!

Best Wildcard Playoff Teams in the NFC Conference

*** The Minnesota Vikings should win the NFC North, the Arizona Cardinals have already won the NFC West, the New York Giants have already won the NFC East and the Carolina Panthers look like winners in the NFC South.

That’s how young this team is! They have a better than average defense and Matt Ryan is a force at quarterback. Michael Turner is one of the best running backs in the NFL. They play the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday. That’s a game they should lose which will knock them out of the playoffs but it’s still been a fantastic season for the Dirty Birds!

Prediction - - Tampa Bay will win out securing the top wildcard spot while the Cowboys will lose this weekend to the Baltimore Ravens. Philadelphia will win out while the Falcons lose to Minnesota on Sunday.

*** The Pittsburgh Steelers have won the AFC North, the Denver Broncos just need to win a game in the next two weeks or have the San Diego Chargers lose a game to win the AFC West, the Tennessee Titans are champs in the AFC South, and the New England Patriots have leapfrogged the New York Jets in my estimation to win the AFC East.
