NCAA Football Props - Heisman Race – McCoy Topples Bradford

Bookmark and Share by Tim Furious

I hate you, Colt McCoy! Why, of all games, did you have to pick this one game to be a stud? Actually, he wasn’t as impressive as one might believe. And it’s not like Sam Bradford lost this game. The Heisman race has become a three-man gauntlet with three of the best quarterbacks in the league dueling it out. Max Hall, Michael Crabtree and Javon Ringer can all make their case, but nobody can touch these three right now.

Sam Bradford (QB) – Oklahoma Sooners

Bradford, despite the loss, had 387 yards and 5 touchdowns which continues his amazing numbers. His place in this race will be safe as long as the Sooners don’t lose another game. Even then, the faults of Oklahoma won’t be placed on his broad shoulders. The Sooners’ defense has to step up.

Next Game: Kansas vs. Oklahoma -20

Colt McCoy (QB) – Texas Longhorns

McCoy crashed the party at the top of the Heisman Race by leading Texas to a win. But his performance wasn’t that inspriring, which is perhaps why he’s still just slightly behind the leaders in this race. McCoy had 277 yards and 1 touchdown in perhaps his biggest game of the year. Granted, the ferocious Texas running game did most of the work, but McCoy has another opportunity against Chase Daniel this weekend.

Next Game: Missouri vs. Texas -7

Chase Daniel (QB) – Missouri Tigers

Bradford and McCoy stole the headlines last weekend, but Daniel is not out of the race yet. A rough performance against Oklahoma State staggered his chances, especially with three glaring interceptions. If he can topple the Texas Longhorns this weekend then he’ll regain his form…and his chances of taking home the Heisman.
