NCAA Football Week 11 Betting - Florida Gators vs. South Carolina Gamecocks
by Tim Furious

Could Streak End For Tebow, Gators Against Gamecocks?
To say that the oddsmakers have been ripping off the Florida betting backers is to say the least. The Gators are winning, and tops in the BCS rankings, but they’re just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games. On top of that, despite having the closer power of a real contender, they’ve been unable to open up their usually score-heavy offense in the past few games. South Carolina’s defense is ranked 29th overall with 20.4 points allowed and will look to slam the breaks on Florida’s unbeaten streak on Saturday.
Tim Tebow vowed to come back and win another championship in his senior year, which would be his third in just four years at Florida. He’s steered the Gators to a 35.0 points per game average, but the Gators have just looked a bit off, especially in a mistake-prone win over Vanderbilt. Is it conceivable that the Gators are running out of steam as they fight of all comers at the top of the BCS mountain?
The Gators, having secured an SEC title game berth, are looking to get their first perfect season secured since 1996. Who was the coach during that season? Steve Spurrier, the present coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Drama!
Florida Gators (9-0) vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (6-4)
Saturday, November 14th --- Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia --- 3:30pm EST
NCAAF Betting Line: Florida -16 (42.5)
Nothing would make Spurrier happier than putting a dent in Florida’s pristine record. Florida is currently 10-1-1 ATS on the road, and are carrying a nice 6-3 ATS record when they play South Carolina. Straight up, they’ve won 17-of-18 games in this series. But don’t count out the Gamecocks just yet. They’re 5-0 SU at home and are getting a massive amount of points against Florida.
I’m not going to be cavalier and say that the Gators are going to lose this game, but a double-digit spread against a crafty Spurrier-coached team at home is going to be a challenge. Florida hasn’t convinced me of much in the past two months, aside from that they’re one of the best teams in the country. But the pressure of a perfect season gets to everyone (read: New England Patriots) so I think that South Carolina puts up a great fight in this one and gives Florida a good scare.
Furious Free Pick: South Carolina +16 (OVER)
