College Football Odds: Minnesota at (13) Iowa
by Al Simmons
The Iowa Hawkeyes host the 10 point underdog Minnesota Golden Gophers at 12:00 PM ET at Kinnick Stadium looking to avoid a devastating season finish.
College Football Betting Odds:
Minnesota Golden Gophers +10
Iowa Hawkeyes -10

The Hawkeyes dropped their Rose Bowl hopes after losing in overtime 27-24 against Ohio State last week with a poor performance from freshman QB James Vandenberg; Minnesota on the other hand won 16-13 over South Dakota.
"This is a big game," Iowa offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga said. "We're at two losses right now, but there's still an opportunity to get to a good bowl game if we win this game. There's a lot riding on this."

RB Adam Robinson becomes the best scoring option for Iowa to win since the loss of QB Ricky Stanzi with an ankle injury. Robinson will have more carries in this game now that the show is run by backup QB Vandenberg who threw 2 TD and 3 INT last weekend. Vandenberg will start again on Saturday.
"James played with great, great poise," Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz said. "He showed great mental toughness and hung in there and kept competing. It was a great, great effort."
Minnesota can´t stop either the run or the pass, their D is very vulnerable but Iowa is not well known for having an explosive offense.
Consider these college football betting trends: Iowa is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games and 8-1 ATS at home. Minnesota is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games on the road.
