If you think that Badgers (+2.5) fans across the nation are suffering strokes, you should see their college football betting faithful. Despite averaging 32.2 points per game and 412.4 yards per game, they are still a maddening 1-2 ATS despite being undefeated. Can they overcome the odds against a surprising Illinois (-2.5) team?
Despite all the hating going against P.J. Hill in the press, he’s still averaging 4.8 yards per carry and has nine scores on the year. He had 155 yards on 34 carries last weekend and is literally carrying the Badgers on his back. He’ll have trouble finding room to run against Illinois, which only gives up 95.4 yards per game on the ground, but they’ve never faced on offensive line like Wisconsin’s.
Hill has to have a big game, so that the sixth ranked Illinois rushing attack doesn’t outshine him. With an average of 255.6 yards per game, the Fighting Illini will have their toughest test when they go up against a vicious Wisconsin front seven. Illinois may be 4-2 ATS when playing Wisconsin but, even as favorites, the Badgers are resilient and hang in games long enough to break the backs of even the most hopeful teams.
Bet on the surprise season of Illinois to come back to Earth on Saturday when they face the fifth ranked Badgers. The longest winning streak in the college football nation remains intact this Saturday as the Badgers win as dogs in Champaign.
