NCAAF Wagering Match-Up - Buffalo Bulls vs. Ohio Bobcats

Mid-week MAC football is the story once again in week ten of the college football gambling season, as the (3-4, 4-3-1 ATS) Buffalo Bulls travel to Southeast Ohio for a Tuesday evening date with the (2-6, 4-2-1 ATS) Ohio University Bobcats. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm Eastern time from the scenic, Peden Stadium, which sits on the banks of the Hocking River in Athens; television coverage of this MAC East NCAA football wagering throw down can been seen on ESPN U.

The University at Buffalo, will enter Tuesday night's contest coming off of a thrilling comeback 27-24 overtime victory against Army back on October 18th. Trailing 24-10 in the fourth quarter of its Homecoming, Buffalo rallied behind senior quarterback, Drew Willy, and it's defense, to pull even with the Black Knights with only 4:19 remaining in the game. The Bulls' deficit was reduced to seven-points at 12:44 in the final frame as Willy connected with junior flanker, Naaman Roosevelt, from eight yards out to cap off a 64 yard drive.

Despite the fact that Buffalo didn’t stand a chance to cover the 10.5-point college football betting line, NCAA football gamblers were still able to see an electrifying finish.

After an Army punt and a stalled drive for the Bulls, Black Knights' fullback, Colin Mooney charged forward for a 19-yard gain, but sophomore linebacker, Justin Winters stripped the ball, and corner, Kendric Hawkins recovered, it to set up the game tying drive; Willy went on to find receiver Ernest Jackson from nine-yards out.

NCAA football bettors held onto their seats in overtime, as UB notched a field goal on its opening possession, and then saw a true homecoming celebration manifest as Army missed a 51-yard field goal on its first OT attempt. Only once has Buffalo beaten the NCAA Odds when they've been favored at home this season, and the win over Army was the second straight UB loss against the closing college football lines.

After banging heads with Ohio State on September sixth and losing their first four contests this season, OU has won two of its last four, though the vast majority of college football gamblers still believe the Bobcats should have pulled out their week nine, Tuesday night contest against Temple.

The Green and White led 10-0 at the half and maintained their advantage into the fourth quarter. Even with the two score lead, however, late mistakes did the Cats in as Temple reached the end zone twice in the fourth quarter to steal the 14-10 victory and pull even with the NCAA football odds that closed with them installed a four-point chalk.

Temple's freshman tailback, Kee-Ayre Griffin kick started the comeback with a one yard touchdown run with 10:53 left on the clock, and for those who placed their college football bets on Temple, a sigh of relief was had when junior Tight End, Steve Mineri, caught a five yard touchdown pass from QB Adam DiMichele with just 1:51 to go.

NCAA football wagerers would have to trace back to 1963 to find the last time Buffalo has beaten OU in Athens, and if the Bulls look to rearranged recent history, they'll have to do so as a 2-point underdog, with the total resting at 50.5-points.
