NCAA Football Week 13 Rankings - PAC 10 Power Poll

Bookmark and Share by Charles Jay

The Pac-10 continues to be one of the wackiest conferences in the country for football handicappers. Check out how BetUS stacks up the squads on the West Coast with this week's college football power rankings...

1: Stanford Cardinal (7-4 ATS, 7-4 SU) (LW: 1) It was pretty inevitable that the Cardinal finally had a bit of a letdown. Even though its rivals from Cal were staring it in the face on Saturday, it's hard to blame HC Jim Harbaugh's crew for losing after back-to-back victories against USC and Oregon. Harbaugh will get to stick the final nail in HC Charlie Weis' coffin this week.

Up Next: Home vs. Notre Dame (-7.5)

2: Oregon Ducks (7-4 ATS, 9-2 SU) (LW: 2) The Ducks put forth a gritty effort in Tucson, and the end result was a much deserved overtime victory that put them within one win of the Rose Bowl. In two weeks, the contest with Oregon State will be a de facto championship game for the conference, giving all the more reason for this to be one of the bloodiest editions in the history of the “Civil War” series.

Up Next: Bye

3: Oregon State Beavers (6-4 ATS, 8-3 SU) (LW: 3) Oregon State scratched and clawed its way around the Pac-10 all season long, and after dismissing Washington State without any issues on Saturday, it has earned a win-and-in position to the Rose Bowl. The only thing standing in the Beavers' path is Oregon, but there's a week to game plan before the rivals get it on.

Up Next: Bye

4: California Golden Bears (6-5 ATS, 8-3 SU) (LW: 5) HC Jeff Tedford has made his case that the Golden Bears should be the second team picked out of the Pac-10 on the bowl ladder if Oregon beats Oregon State and advances to the Rose Bowl. A 34-28 victory over Stanford helped ease the pain of a season of disappointment. However, with a win against Washington in two weeks and a bowl victory, Cal can still be proud of a ten-win campaign in '09.

Up Next: Bye

5: UCLA Bruins (6-5 ATS, 6-5 SU) (LW: 7) HC Rick Neuheisel accomplished his mission of making the Bruins bowl eligible this season. A big 23-13 victory against Arizona State marked the third straight victory for UCLA, who won its first three games before losing its next five. Could this be the year that the Bruins take out mighty USC?

Up Next: Away @ Southern California (+12.5)

6: Washington Huskies (5-5 ATS, 3-7 SU) (LW: 6) The Huskies enjoyed their final bye week of the season last week. They'll have to lick their wounds from four straight conference defeats before taking on Wazzou in the Apple Cup this coming Saturday. Even though HC Steve Sarkisian isn't taking his team to a bowl game in his first season, wins over both WSU and Cal in the final two weeks of the season would be a huge boost heading into recruiting for a program that is clearly on the rise.

Up Next: Home vs. Washington State (-24)

And the rest…

7: Arizona State Sun Devils (5-5 ATS, 4-7 SU) (LW: 4)

8: Arizona Wildcats (5-5 ATS, 6-4 SU) (LW: 9)

9: Washington State Cougars (5-6 ATS, 1-10 SU) (LW: 8)

10: USC Trojans (2-8 ATS, 7-3 SU) (LW: 10)
