Hawaii Bowl - The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Hawaii Warriors will shoot it out at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium on Christmas Eve. The Sun Devils finished the year at 7-4 ATS and the Warriors ended the season 8-4 ATS.

Hawaii is coming off a tough loss to Oregon State at home, in which quarterback Colt Brennan threw two uncharacteristic interceptions. Both Brennan and ASU quarterback Rudy Carpenter have the ability to light up the scoreboard. Hawaii is playing at home, which is always a big advantage for the Warriors, but the Sun Devils will be up to the challenge.

The Sun Devils will be playing for Dirk Koetter, who will be coaching in his final game on Arizona State's sideline. Koetter was fired two days after his team defeated rival Arizona 28-14 to clinch a third consecutive postseason berth.

 

It's no secret both clubs have explosive offenses, as the mega total of 73.5 points for this game indicates. The scoreboard operator will have his work cut out for him in this contest. The Sun Devils will be playing with a lot of motivation and should be able to hang with the Warriors in a shootout. Arizona State, at +6.5 points, is the wise play in this one.
