NCAA Basketball Betting – Big East Power Poll

1: Louisville Cardinals (4-1 ATS, 4-1 SU) Louisville continued its preparation for Big East play this week by pounding Indiana State and Ohio, covering the spread in each game. It was a nice rebound from the embarrassing 68-54 loss to Western Kentucky as 19.5-point road favorites. The tune-ups continue this week with two more games against sub-par opponents.

This Week: Home vs. Lamar, Home vs. Austin Peay

2: South Florida Bulls (4-1 ATS, 3-3 SU) The Bulls probably won’t compete this year in the rough and tough Big East, but they’re off to a great start for their sports betting fans. USF narrowly missed upsetting UAB as a double-digit underdog this week, but also suffered its first ATS loss of the season, losing 71-63 at UCF.

This Week: Home vs. Niagara

3: Pittsburgh Panthers (3-1-1 ATS, 9-0 SU) Can anyone score on this defense? Pitt held Vermont and Duquesne to 51 points apiece this week, romping both in the process. The Panthers have held teams to just 57.2 points per game this year, the 23rd best mark in the land. Those numbers could improve this week with another lackluster opponent.

This Week: Home vs. Maryland-Baltimore County

4: Cincinnati Bearcats (2-1 ATS, 6-1 SU) Cincinnati added a nice non-conference victory to its resume this week by beating UAB 87-80 as three-point favorites. It was the second consecutive victory for Bearcats bettors, who will hope to add another feather to their cap this week against the Musketeers.

This Week: Home vs. Xavier

5: Villanova Wildcats (3-2 ATS, 8-0 SU) Villanova held Houston Baptist and Penn to an average of 52 points per game this week, picking up another ATS victory in the process. No one has scored more than 68 points against the Wildcats this year, but that could change with the Longhorns on Tuesday night in the “Big Apple”.

This Week: Home vs. Texas, Home vs. St. Joseph’s

6: Seton Hall Pirates (3-2 ATS, 6-1 SU) The Pirates have had a fantastic start to their season, but they’ve yet to really notch an impressive victory. They beat Monmouth down this week, but have games against California Baptist and St. Peters this week that won’t help their NCAA Tournament resume, win or lose.

This Week: Home vs. California Baptist, Away @ St. Peters

7: Connecticut Huskies (2-2 ATS, 8-0 SU) For an 8-0 squad, UConn still feels like there is a lot of improvement necessary. The Huskies beat Buffalo 68-64 this past week, and are off until December 15th, which will be their last tune-up before a huge duel with Gonzaga.

This Week: Off

8: Georgetown Hoyas (2-2 ATS, 5-1 SU) The Hoyas crushed American 73-49 last Saturday and have a final tune-up with Savannah State before getting ready to face off with Memphis in a game that could go a long way in building G-Town’s resume come the Spring.

This Week: Home vs. Savannah State, Home vs. Memphis

And the rest…

9: Rutgers Scarlet Knights (2-2 ATS, 5-3 SU)

10: Syracuse Orange (2-3 ATS, 8-0 SU)

11: Marquette Golden Eagles (2-3 ATS, 7-1 SU)

12: West Virginia Mountaineers (2-3 ATS, 6-1 SU)

13: Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2-3 ATS, 6-2 SU)

14: St. John’s Red Storm (1-1-1 ATS, 6-1 SU)

15: Providence Friars (2-5 ATS, 6-3 SU)

16: DePaul Blue Demons (0-4 ATS, 4-2 SU)
