BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds: SANTA CLARA -11, Total 124.5

The San Francisco Dons (7-19 SU, 10-13 ATS) seek a second straight win for only the second time this season as they tackle the Santa Clara Broncos (13-13 SU, 12-12 ATS), looking to make up some ground before entering the West Coast Conference tournament, in a WCC game that tips off at 10 PM ET at the Leavey Center.

In the BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds, Santa Clara is listed as an 11-point favorite, with a total of 124.5 points.

Here are some of the NCAA college basketball betting trends as they relate to this matchup:

* SF has covered one of its last five games

* SF has lost 14 of its last 17 games SU

* SF has played four of its last six games OVER the total

* SF has covered four of its last six road games

* SF has lost 14 of its last 16 road games SU

* SF has played four of its last six road games UNDER the total

* SC has covered seven of its last ten games

* SC has lost four of its last six games SU

* SC has played four of its last five games UNDER the total

* SC has covered four of its last six home games

* SC has covered six of the last seven meetings

* SC has won five of the last six meetings SU

* SC has covered four of the last six meetings as the home team

* SC has won seven of the last ten meetings SU as the home team

Things obviously did not go well for San Francisco the first time around against Santa Clara, as they went down to crushing 66-48 defeat on their home floor January 28. On that night, John Bryant, the talented inside scorer for the Broncos, was very tough to deal with, as he chalked up 22 points and 12 rebounds. Bryant has hardly slowed down, averaging almost 23 ppg over his last seven contests and going through a recent stretch where he pulled down a dozen rebounds or more in five of six games.

Meanwhile, poor-shooting USF (43.6% FG's) hasn't really picked up things appreciably for Eddie Sutton since that first meeting, and has not given Dior Lowhorn (20.5 ppg) enough offensive support. The permissive Dons (48% FG allowed) have a lot of ground to make up if they want to be competitive in this ever-improving league. Meanwhile, Santa Clara still has some post-season hopes, especially with a new tournament - the College Basketball Invitational - being established this year. They'll have to pocket these "winnable" games to get there.

We're going to lay the points with the Santa Clara Broncos, the 11-point favorite in the BetUS NCAA college basketball betting odds.
