College Basketball Betting ACC Power Poll
by Mike Rose

The college basketball betting season is underway, and the teams in the ACC are already off to a hot start! Check out how the teams in one of the top conferences in the country stack up in this week's BetUS basketball power rankings...
1: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (4-1 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 5) G-Tech rumbles up to the top spot in the ACC Power Poll after crushing both Siena and USC over the course of the week. The Jackets haven't been beaten either SU or ATS since November 19th, and that doesn't figure to change this week either.
On Deck: Away @ Chattanooga, Home vs. Arkansas Pine-Bluff
2: Miami Hurricanes (4-1 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 4) The Hurricanes just narrowly missed out on upsetting BC in Chestnut Hill, but there's still nothing to complain about in South Beach. Miami should be 14-1 with ease before sinking its teeth into the rest of the ACC schedule.
On Deck: Home vs. South Carolina State
3: Boston College Eagles (4-3 ATS, 6-2 SU) (LW: 3) Since losing to Northern Iowa, the Eagles have rolled off three straight wins, going 2-1 ATS. Remember last year when they lost outright to Harvard at home? Don't expect to see that again on Wednesday.
On Deck: Home vs. Harvard, Home vs. Rhode Island
4: North Carolina State Wolfpack (4-3 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 2) Even though a loss at home to Northwestern in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will hurt, NC State's resume was boosted in a big way with a huge upset victory at Marquette on Saturday. Two wins had better be in the cards this week before ACC play kicks off.
On Deck: Home vs. Georgia Southern, Home vs. Elon
5: Duke Blue Devils (4-3 ATS, 7-1 SU) (LW: 1) A week after winning the Preseason NIT at MSG, the Dookies took a step backwards, losing in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge for the first time in school history at Wisconsin and narrowly escaping embarrassment against St. John's. The Blue Devils won't leave Cameron Indoor again for an entire month.
On Deck: Home vs. Gardner-Webb, Home vs. Gonzaga
6: Wake Forest Demon Deacons (2-2 ATS, 5-2 SU) (LW: 7) Wake Forest bettors really deserved better this week. The Deacs fought tooth and nail at Purdue for the whole 40 minutes, but just ran out of gas at the end and narrowly missed covering the number. However, a win at Gonzaga was incredibly sweet.
On Deck: Home vs. Elon, Away @ UNC Wilmington
7: North Carolina Tar Heels (4-4 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 11) What a heck of a week it was for the Tar Heels! They faced off with a pair of Top-10 teams in Michigan State and Kentucky and proved good enough to cover the number in both games. HC Roy Williams has another strong squad that will only get better as the season progresses thanks to these tough non-conference battles. Fortunately, there's a breather on the slate this week.
On Deck: Home vs. Presbyterian
8: Maryland Terrapins (3-3 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 9) The Terrapins couldn't quite come back from a bad first half against Villanova, and the end result was their third loss both SU and ATS in their L/4 games. Fortunately, a murderous schedule takes a break over these next couple weeks.
On Deck: Home vs. Eastern Kentucky
And the rest...
9: Virginia Cavaliers (2-3 ATS, 4-3 SU) (LW: 8)
10: Clemson Tigers (3-4 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 10)
11: Florida State Seminoles (2-4 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 6)
12: Virginia Tech Hokies (2-4 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 12)
