NBA Basketball Betting – NBA Championship Props Picks II

With the opening game of the 2007-08 NBA Finals set to take place on Thursday night, BetUS online NBA basketball bettors can get their fill of NBA online pro basketball sports wagering by taking a look at part two of the ingenious proposition (Props) odds that the clever oddsmakers at BetUS have once again conjured up for the BetUS NBA online betting community.

As usual, I always advise online sports bettors that props wagering, regardless of the sports, is often the most exciting wager a bettors can make as the multiple choices of wagers that make up the game within the game generally tend to leave sports wagering enthusiasts on the edge of their respective seats throughout whatever sporting event they’ve decided to place a sports wager on.

In this case, that would be the 2007-08 NBA Finals between arguably, the two most historic franchises in NBA history.

Here is a look at several of the NBA Championship Props Odds for Game 1 of the NBA Championship Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers, (12-3 SU, 10-4 ATS, 5-10 O/U) and Boston Celtics, (12-8 SU, 8-12 ATS, 9-11 O/U).

Race to 30 Pts

Lakers -105

Celtics -135

Analysis: While the Celtics certainly aren’t a better offensive team than the Lakers, I say they get to 30 points first in Game 1, fueled by the voracious defense and equally vociferous home crowd.

NBA Free Picks: Boston Celtics

Highest Scoring Quarter

1st Quarter +200

2nd Quarter +300

3rd Quarter +280

4th Quarter +260

Analysis: Of Boston’s six games with the Pistons in the Eastern Finals, the team’s highest scoring quarter was the second quarter twice, the third quarter on two other occasions and the fourth quarter in the other two contests. The Lakers, led by Bryant, clearly save their best efforts for the final quarter, but I’m going to say the third quarter will be the highest scoring quarter in this Game 1 matchup after the two teams feel each other out during the first half.

NBA Free Picks: Third Quarter

Lakers Team Total

Lakers ~ Odd -110

Lakers ~ Even -110

Analysis: Six of the Lakers last ten final scores have been odd numbers, meaning they’re just about due for an even final figure. Go with the Even here online sports bettors.

Total Points& Rebounds Ray Allen

Over 20½ Points+Rebounds -120

Under 20½ Points+Rebounds -120

Analysis: After putting up 29 points and three rebounds in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Allen put up 17 and 6 in Boston’s close-out victory in Game 6 and seems to have regained the shooting touch that has made him the best shooter on the face of the planet for the last decade or so. Besides, Allen usually lights up Kobe Bryant and the Lakers whenever he sees their purple and gold uniforms.

NBA Free Picks: Over 20½ Total Points+Rebounds

Team to Score Last

Lakers -120

Celtics -120

Analysis: This pick is one of those ‘50-50’ wagering deals that don’t require a bunch of research but could pay big dividends for winners. Since I like the Celtics to win Game 1, I say they close out the scoring on their way to victory.

NBA Free Picks: Boston Celtics

Total Points& Assists R Rondo

Over 15½ Points+Assists -115

Under 15½ Points+Assists -125

Analysis: Rondo averaged 9.1 points and 6.5 assists in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pistons and should be able to put up similar numbers with his clear foot-speed advantage over Lakers veteran point guard Derek Fisher. Take the Over here as Rondo will likely just top the 15½ Total Spread with just a bit of room to spare.

NBA Free Picks: Over 15 ½ Total Points+Assists
