NBA Thursday Parlay - 3 Game Payday
by Dave D

Cleveland Cavaliers (61-13) @ Washington Wizards (17-59)
The Cleveland Cavaliers have won a franchise record 13 straight games and right now, it looks like they might not lose another game this season. On Thursday night, they’ll take their show on the road to Washington, where the hapless Wizards will try to derail the L-Train.
LeBron James and the Cavaliers are five games clear of the second-place Boston Celtics and while they are in the midst of the best season in franchise history, the Wizards are in the throes of their worst.
The best meets the worst in the East tonight but the win might not be so simple for the Cavaliers. The Wizards are getting healthier as Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood, both of whom have been out most of the season, will be back tonight. Sports betting handicappers should take that into account.
Pick: Wizards +10.5
Milwaukee Bucks @ Philadelphia 76ers
The Milwaukee Bucks ended their ugly five-game losing streak on Monday with a big win over the New Jersey Nets and promptly started another one after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.
Now the Bucks have to head to Philadelphia, which could result in a second loss for their new streak.
The Bucks are just 3-11 this season as a road underdog of 6.5 to nine points and are just 10-29 against teams above .500.
The Sixers are a decent home team and have won four of their last five in their own confines, but they need to keep winning to get a better playoff position in the East. Currently, they are the fifth seed in the conference but should they fall any further, they would be at risk of facing the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics or Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
As it stands right now, they would face the Atlanta Hawks and NBA betting fans know they are a much easier opponent to deal with.
The Sixers will be without Thaddeus Young for this contest, who will be out for a couple of weeks with an ankle injury. Even so, the Sixers are deep enough to put the Bucks away.
Pick: Sixers -7.5
The Utah Jazz have been absolutely awful on the road this season and if they plan on doing any kind of damage in the playoffs, they better figure out how to win away from home.
Thursday night will be a statement game between the Jazz and Denver Nuggets because should the playoffs start today, these two teams would face each other with the Nuggets holding home court advantage.
The Nuggets have quietly flown under the sports betting radar and have won nine of their last 10 games. Meanwhile, the Jazz have won five of their last seven but have covered the spread just twice in their last 10 contests.
Look for the Jazz to come up with a valiant effort tonight as they wrap up a short two-game road trip.
Pick: Jazz +5
