NBA Sports Betting - Clippers at San Antonio

The other L.A. team, the Clippers, travel to San Antonio to take on the ultra-consistent Spurs. San Antonio suffered earlier this season because of injuries, but since then, like always, this team has proven to be one of the best in the Western Conference. The Spurs have a 23 and 11 record straight-up. Sports betting fans like that but they can’t like the Spurs’ record against the BetUS online betting spread. San Antonio is 16-17-1 against the spread so far this season. What’s worse is that they are 7-11-1 against the BetUS Sportsbook online wagering spread at home.
Of course, they do get to play the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. What in the world was Baron Davis thinking? I know he wanted to go back home, he did play at UCLA, but to the Clippers? The Clippers have never been a consistent team. They had a line-up featuring a healthy Danny Manning and Ron Harper at one time in the late1980’s. They failed then. They had Corey Magette and Elton Brand on the same team just last year. They failed again. Straight-up this is a terrible, awful, team at 8 and 26. Against the spread the Clips are an okay 16 and 18. But, get this, their record against the spread in away games is a terrific 11 and 6!
Here are the BetUS online sportsbook NBA betting odds for this game.
Los Angeles Clippers + 13 - 110 + 800 O 184 ½ - 110
San Antonio Spurs -13 - 110 - 1400 U 184 ½ - 110
Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.
The Los Angeles Clippers are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games on the road.
The Los Angeles Clippers are 4 and 1 against the spread in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
The San Antonio Spurs are 5 and 0 against the spread in their last 5 games versus a team from the NBA Pacific Division.
The San Antonio Spurs are 0 and 4 against the spread in their last 4 games at home.
This is an easy one. No, I mean that. The Los Angeles Clippers are 11 and 6 against the spread overall in their away games this season.
The San Antonio Spurs are 7-11-1 against the spread in their away games this season. The percentages say that the Clippers play the Spurs tough in this game
That’s even truer because the Clippers lost by only 3 points to the Spurs the last time these two teams met in mid-November. Where was the game? In San Antonio.
Of course, the Clips will be without Baron Davis. Okay, maybe this isn’t that easy, but the other members on the Clippers’ squad have been stepping up just enough to keep this team in games - - at least in regards to the BetUS online betting spread.
Even without Davis, I can’t lay 13 points on the Spurs at home. That’s just too many points.
I’ll be making an online bet on the Los Angeles Clippers, minus Baron Davis, to beat the BetUS online NBA betting spread of 13 points against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.
