NBA Parlay Picks – King James' Cavs vs. Indiana Pacers

Cavs, Pacers, Both Looking to Bounce Back from Losses
Cavaliers (-4) at Pacers (+4)
(O/U) 199½
7:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers (8-4 SU, 5-7 ATS, 6-6 O/U) and Indiana Pacers (5-4 SU, 5-4 ATS, 2-7 O/U) both took unexpected spankings on their rear ends in their last contests.
Now, the two Central Division foes will be looking to get back in the win column when they renew their rivalry at Conseco Fieldhouse tonight at 7 PM ET.
Cavaliers Betting Preview
The Cavaliers had been playing solid basketball until running into the struggling Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
Cleveland had its five-game winning streak emphatically snapped as the Wizards ran away to record a convincing 108-91 victory.
LeBron James scored a game-high 34 points and dished out nine assists in another one of his ‘me-against-them’ performances. The Cavaliers failed to cover the NBA point spread as 3.5-point road favorites in the loss.
Now, the Cavs come into tonight’s matchup riding a three-game ATS losing streak while playing Over their set O/U totals in five straight games.

Pacers Betting Preview
The Pacers also saw its five-game winning streak come to an abrupt halt as they were upset by the lowly New York Knicks 110-103 on Wednesday.
Indiana failed to cover the NBA point spread as 6-point home favorites as they allowed New York’s Al Harrington to score 26 points and Larry Hughes to put up 22 points and grab 10 rebounds.
Danny Granger scored a game-high 33 points with seven rebounds and Dahantay Jones continued his hot start adding 25 points in the loss. The Pacers also had their five-game ATS winning streak snapped in the loss.
Tonight’s Key Trends
- Cavaliers are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
- Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Indiana.
- Favorite is 15-5-2 ATS in the last 22 meetings.
- Home team is 12-5-2 ATS in the last 19 meetings.
- Over is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings in Indiana.
The Scoop on Tonight’s Matchup
The Cavaliers have clearly had the Pacers’ number the last few years, going a blistering 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these rivals and also posting an impressive 4-1 ATS mark in the last five ballgames in Indiana.
However, the Cavaliers are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games as a favorite while the Pacers have gone a polar opposite 4-1 ATS in their last five games against Eastern Conference ballclubs.
I also like the fact that the Pacers are getting more solid contributions from their younger players, like second –year center Roy Hibbert (12.8 ppg) and rookie forward Tyler Hansbrough who put up 14 points and five rebounds in 20 minutes in the team’s loss to New York.
Cleveland is still mostly a one-man gang with LeBron James averaging 28.3 points per contest and Mo Williams putting up a respectable 17.2 points per game. New addition Shaquille O’Neal clearly hasn’t been the answer the Cavaliers hoped he would be (duh, what’d they expect) as he is averaging just 11.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Analysis: With the Pacers averaging a very nice 100.3 points per contest to Cleveland’s 98.8 points per game and the home team in this series going a consistent 12-5-2 ATS in the last 19 meetings, I like the Pacers to pull of the surprise win and NBA point spread cover tonight.
The division rivals have also spilt the last four games against the spread while playing Over tonight’s set O/U total in six of the last seven games and three of the last five games in Indianapolis.
I like the Pacers and the Over here NBA pro basketball bettors.
