NBA Expert Picks – Struggling Spurs Host Surprising Raptors
NBA Expert Picks – Toronto (+7) vs. San Antonio
San Antonio , TX - 8:30 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors (3-3 SU, 3-3 ATS, 4-2 O/U) have been respectable this season despite the fear that they may lose superstar forward Chris Bosh to free agency following this season.
The Raptors however, were routed in their last contest, losing to the Dallas Mavericks 129-101 on Saturday while failing to cover the NBA point spread as 7.5-point road underdogs.
Toronto will host an inconsistent San Antonio Spurs (2-3 SU, 2-3 ATS, 3-2 O/U) team that has dropped two straight games and been one of the harder teams to figure out in the early going this season.
Both teams will be looking to get back in the win column when they battle at the AT&T Center tonight at 8:30 PM ET.
The Spurs lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 96-84 on Friday, failing to cover the NBA point spread for BetUS pro basketball gamblers as 4-point road underdogs.
Bosh had a stellar double-double in Toronto’s loss with 26 points and 12 rebounds while Richard Jefferson had 19 points and five rebounds in San Antonio’s loss.

Analysis: I don’t think any NBA expert around saw the San Antonio Spurs struggling so mightily to start the season after making some fine offseason additions that included Richard Jefferson, Antonio McDyess and rookie DeJuan Blair, but the Spurs have disappointed nonetheless.
Both teams in this matchup have recorded some absolutely perplexing ATS wagering statistics coming into this contest with the Raptors going a solid 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings in San Antonio and an equally impressive 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as a road underdog, but also going a dismal 6-13 ATS in their last 19 road games making this pick a lot tougher.
The Spurs have gone a robust 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games versus a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400 but have also compiled a poor 2-6-1 ATS record in their last nine games against NBA Atlantic Division teams.
I’m going to take the Spurs to narrowly cover tonight’s spread at home as they’ve won and covered the spread in each of their home games this season.
However, think the Under may be the best pick of all in tonight’s matchup my estimation The Under has gone 5- 2 in the last seven meetings between these teams in San Antonio and the Spurs are averaging and allowing right around 98 points per game this season.
Play the Spurs and the Under in this matchup tonight pro basketball betting fanatics.
