NBA Betting Analysis Spurs @ Heat

While the San Antonio Spurs (22-11 SU, 15-17-1 ATS, 13-19-1 O/U) have won two straight games and seven of their last ten overall in the BetUS Sportsbook, the Spurs have managed to cover the spread for NBA sports betting backers just three times during the span.
The Miami Heat (18-14 SU, 13-17-2 ATS, 15-17 O/U) have alternated wins and losses in each of its last five games, but have gone a respectable 5-4-1 ATS over their last ten.
Tonight, both ballclubs will look to pick up an SU and ATS victory when they square off at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.
The Spurs are coming off a closer-than-expected 108-106 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday as point guard Tony Parker nailed the game-winning put-back with just 0.9 seconds remaining. San Antonio blew an early 21-point lead while failing to cover the spread as a 9.5-point home favorite.
All-star power forward Tim Duncan scored a team-high 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to complete a double-double while Manu Ginobili added 21 points and Roger Mason 19. The Spurs were down before Parker grabbed an offensive rebound with 0.9 seconds left and hit a high-arching 15-footer at the buzzer for the victory.
"I was just trying to make sure it got a chance," Parker said. "A chance, you know, with enough air on it. I knew there was not a lot of seconds left. It was just a good shot."
The Heat needed overtime to beat the New Jersey Nets 101-96 on Saturday as the league’s leading scorer, shooting guard Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 29 points while Yahkouba Diawara and Michael Beasley contributed 19 and 17 points respectively.
"In the second half, Dwyane Wade displayed his dominance again," Nets guard Keyon Dooling said. "He carried them to the mountaintop. He's incredible. He's amazing."
Miami failed to cover the spread fro BetUS NBA sports betting backers as a 6.5-point home favorite while the 197 total points went it OVER the posted O/U total of 185.

Analysis: While I’m not real impressed with the play of the San Antonio Spurs so far this season – and realize that the Miami heat are a tough out at home – I like the Spurs to get their act together and handle their business in Miami tonight.
I can’t put my finger on San Antonio’s problems but they clearly aren’t firing on all cylinders. Still, I say they get the win and narrow cover over the Heat despite being on the road.
