The Blazers are actually a much better than I thought. They’ve gone a pretty impressive 6 and 5 against the spread in their 11 games this year. Kidd has never been a big time scorer and without Carter in the line-up, the Nets will need Kidd to score if they want to keep this thing close.
The young Blazers are a much improved team from last year. LaMarcus Aldridge is getting better and better for the Blazers and Brandon Roy is as solid as an NBA player defensive-minded player can get.
