The Boston Celtics have won 19 games in a row. That’s an incredible streak that sports betting fans have to appreciate. If Boston can beat the Lakers on Christmas Day, then the streak will be twenty. But here’s the thing - - even though straight-up Boston is pretty much a sure thing, against the BetUS online betting spread this season they haven’t always been a sure thing. Even though this looks like a huge game because it’s the Celtics and the Lakers, the truth is that this game really isn’t all that important. The Lakers won their important game of the week by taking down conference rival New Orleans on Tuesday night.

I’m not saying that the Lakers won’t try in this game. I’m just saying that they understand that this is an inter-conference game while the game against New Orleans no doubt would have had an affect on them later down the road.

The Lakers are coming off of a four game trip. There’s no way that they go into this Dec. 25th game with guns blazing ready to take down the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are just too good as it is.
