NBA Championship Betting Action – Celtics Look to Finish in Game 6
by Eric Williams
While the Los Angeles Lakers, (71-31 SU, 57-42-2 ATS, 47-54 O/U) managed to stave off elimination in their Game 5 NBA Finals betting matchup against the Boston Celtics, (81-26 SU, 65-40-2 ATS, 47-59-1 O/U) winning 103-98 in a squeaker down the stretch to hold off the C’s and force tonight’s Game 6 contest, the Celtics say that the Lakers can expect nothing short of a guerilla-style attack when they come into Boston’s TD BankNorth Garden for their Game 6 sports betting matchup tonight.
Even though they’re suffering with some injuries to three of their starters, the Celtics have completely outplayed the Lakers for the majority of this NBA Finals betting matchup and nearly stole Game 5 despite getting a seriously sub par performance from team leader and Defensive Player of the Year, Kevin Garnett.
"It's going to be like coming into the Amazon, into the jungle," Garnett said. "I look forward to coming home and playing.”
The Celtics, like most NBA betting fans or online betting faithful, who have watched the first five games of this sports betting series, realize they are clearly the better team, though they aren’t going around bragging just yet.
"We're one up, with two games to go at home," said Paul Pierce. "It still feels like we have the advantage, and I do feel like we're the better team."
While the Lakers finally got a Pau Gasol sighting in Game 5 as he tried to shake off the ‘soft’ label he’s rightfully earned through the series’ first four games, the BetUS NBA online sports wagering population that loves to wager on NBA hoops, should know that the Celtics once again did a fantastic job in shutting down Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, holidng the enigmatic sniper into another dismal shooting performance as Bryant scored 25 points in Game 5 but shot just 8-for-21 from the field.

Here is a look at tonight’s key online sports wagering trends, followed by my NBA Free Picks.
The Lakers are 4-1 ATS in their last five playoff games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5.
The Lakers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as a road underdog of 0.5-4.5.
The Celtics are 6-0 ATS in their last six games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
The Celtics are 5-0 ATS in their last five NBA Championship games.
The Under is 4-0 in Lakers last four after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
The Under is 5-0 in Celtics last five after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
The Lakers are 0-7 ATS in the last seven meetings.
The Underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
Analysis: Maybe it’s me, but I am shocked that oddsmakers everywhere are giving away free money on this series by offering some absolutely insane odds that have favored the Celtics each and every time. The BetUS NBA online sports wagering community should know that tonight’s point spread is going to be another case of ‘taking candy from a baby.’
BetUS NBA basketball bettors should roll with the Celtics and the Under one more time as I expect Boston to absolutely obliterate the Lakers tonight while covering the easy 4.5-point spread and winning the 17th championship in franchise history.
