NBA Betting Power Poll Week 21 Part 2

(CURRENT) (TEAM) (W/L OVERALL & W/L FOR WEEK) (ATS RECORD) (LAST WEEKS RANK)

16) Atlanta Hawks (29-39/3-1) (31-36-1 ATS) (LW: 19) The Hawks showed they’re not dead yet this past week by posting a 3-1 SU and ATS mark to tie New Jersey for the #8 seed. Four of their next five come at home, so the Hawks should still be in it for at least one more week.

17) Toronto Raptors (35-33/1-3) (35-32-1 ATS) (LW: 16) Thank goodness Bosh is back in the line-up for the Dinos. It was really starting to get ugly for this club with him out of the line-up. Their choke job in the 4th quarter in Utah was disgusting, but the 42-point beatdown they handed Miami was downright putrid for the few Heat fans that remain.

18) Sacramento Kings (31-36/3-1) (35-31-1 ATS) (LW: 20) The Kings have no shot of playing in the post-season this year, but they can play the role of spoiler throughout the rest of the season. They did just that this past week picking up wins against Golden State, Toronto, and the Lakers. Houston and San Antonio better watch out this week!

19) Portland Trailblazers (35-33/1-2) (35-33 ATS) (LW: 17) The Blazers continue to battle every passing week, but they just don’t have the experience on hand to bang with the big boys evidenced by losing at home to Phoenix and Sacramento this past week. They did however handle the Timberwolves for their lone win and cover of the week.

20) Chicago Bulls (27-40/1-2) (30-37 ATS) (LW: 18) Back-to-back 1-2 SU and ATS weeks for the Bulls who now find themselves 2-games out of the #8 seed. We’re starting to get down to the grizzle and fat of the NBA schedule, and time is running out on these guys. They have to make a move this week with three of their next four coming in the “UC”.

21) New Jersey Nets (29-39/1-2) (26-40-2 ATS) (LW: 21) It just goes to show how poor the Eastern Conference is when the 8th seed representative is currently 10 games under .500. That said, the Nets should win a couple this week with games slated to go against Denver, Philly, NY, and Indiana.

22) Indiana Pacers (27-41/2-2) (31-36-1 ATS) (LW: 23) Indy continues to play well against the losers, but gets waxed against the contenders. Three of four are against losing teams this week, so the Pacers should snag a couple more victories.

23) Minnesota Timberwolves (17-50/3-1) (32-35 ATS) (LW: 24) You have to hand it to this Minnesota bunch, they might not be close to resembling an NBA squad just yet, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving it their all. They went 3-1 SU this past week with wins against Memphis, the Clippers, and Grizzlies. If this club were in the east, they’d probably be a 6 seed right now…

24) Charlotte Bobcats (24-44/0-4) (30-37-1 ATS) (LW: 22) Posted last week: look for them to get back to their losing ways this week with four more road games at Houston, Cleveland, Memphis, and Indiana. Have fun Bobcats!!! An 0-4 SU and 2-2 ATS mark for the Bobcats….Yeah!!! Less then 20 to go before this nightmare ends!!!

25) Seattle Supersonics (16-52/0-3) (32-34-2 ATS) (LW: 27) Two losses and a push ATS for the Sonics who haven’t won a game since their OT victory over Minnesota at the beginning of March. Look for more of the same this week with games slated to go against the Lakers, Jazz, Blazers, and Wizards.

26) Milwaukee Bucks (23-44/0-2) (29-37 ATS) (LW: 25) The Bucks only has two games this past week, but they lost both SU and ATS. This club is the epitome of what you don’t want your franchise to turn into. They’ve clearly thrown in the towel, and an overhaul of this franchise is certain to come in the off-season.

27) NY Knicks (19-48/0-2) (30-36-1 ATS) (LW: 26) Another losing week in the “Big Apple” as the Knicks got wiped out by Atlanta and Indiana. It’s such a sad state of affairs actually reporting on this team on a weekly basis, and I’ve simply run out of things to say.

28) LA Clippers (21-46/0-4) (27-40 ATS) (LW: 28) Not only are the Clippers bad and considered to be a fade on a nightly basis, but they’re freaking awful to watch. We’re all looking forward to the end of their season as much as they are…

29) Miami Heat (12-55/1-3) (25-41-1 ATS) (LW: 29) Miami picked up another win this week, so that should fill their quota for the month of March. It really has to be hard for Pat Riley to come to work everyday. Unreal what this franchise has turned into in such a short time.

30) Memphis Grizzles (16-51/1-2) (28-38-1 ATS) (LW: 30) The Grizzlies lost two of their three games this past week, but they managed to cash all three ATS. Their effort in Golden State was solid almost winning SU as 16-point dawgs, but Golden state has been horse “bleep” ATS at home all season long. They might be able to squeeze out a win this week with a trip to NY.
