This is the second game in a row for the Suns who played awfully well on the road yesterday beating the Memphis Grizzlies by 14 points. Shaq had a pretty good game getting 13 points and 11 rebounds. That’s what the Suns need out of the guy each night. A double-double will be well worth what they gave up for him. Things get no easier for the Suns as they travel to New Orleans to take on the Hornets. With yesterday’s win against the spread the Suns have now gone 4-5-1 against the BetUS spread in their last 10 games. The Hornets have gone 3 and 7 against the BetUS spread in their last 10 games and have lost 3 games in a row straight-up.

That makes this game ultra-tough for the Suns who ran lights out versus the Grizzlies last night. I see a good old-fashioned “bounce” out of the Suns tonight as the going will be much tougher in this one. Whatever advantage the Suns have at the point-guard position won’t be there as Chris Paul is just fantastic.

The best reason to like the Hornets? They’ve lost three games in a row. I guarantee you that New Orleans’ coach Byron Scott will have his players performing at a very high level tonight. This team is too good to lose four games in a row.

Too bad for the Suns, but the Hornets look like a solid play to me.

My money will be on the Hornets to snap their three-game losing streak and cover the spread versus the Phoenix Suns tonight.
